About the artist
Lothar Götz was born in Germany and studied in Wuppertal and Düsseldorf before completing an MA at the Royal College of Art, London, where he now lives. He has had solo exhibitions at The Economist building, Chisenhale Gallery and Gasworks and has taken part in several international projects including ones in Hamburg and Santiago Compostela. In 2006 he completed a site specific commission for Transport for London’s 'Platform for Art' in the Piccadilly Circus underground station ticket hall.
