About the artist
Brass Art is an artist’s collective comprised of Chara Lewis, Kristin Mojsiewicz and Anneke Pettican. They have worked together since 1998. Brass Art’s work includes films, printed objects and drawings and as performers they explore the gap between public and private space, sometimes seeking vantage-points within cities to oversee the architecture. Brass Art had a solo exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in 2008 and regularly exhibit in major cities in the UK and worldwide. Their exhibition ‘Shadow Play’ was held at Manchester University’s Whitworth Gallery in 2010.
