January 1800, commanded by Admiral Lord Keith after its Return / from the glorious Action of the Nile, fought on the 1st. of August in the Bay of Aboukir by the Noble Viscount Lord Nelson Duke of Bronte &c. &c., then / Vice Admiral of the Blue. / This work is humbly dedicated to Lancelot Cooper Esq. British Consul General at Venice by / his most devoted and humble servant / Bernardino Bussoni [with embroidered armorial in centre of inscription].
