  • Eliza Gluckman, Director

    Eliza leads the Government Art Collection team as they deliver international displays, public engagement, commissions, acquisitions and new partnerships, alongside the management and care of the Collection.

  • Jennifer Lopez, Collection Administrator and Personal Assistant to Director

    Jennifer manages the Director’s diary, schedules meetings and corresponds on behalf of the Director.

  • Madeline Betts, Head of Collection Information

    Madeline oversees the smooth running of the Collection’s governance, planning, evaluation, contracts, strategic partnerships and its budget and resources. She heads up the Collection Information team, supervising documentation, photography and copyright workflows, data protection and records management, business planning and digital engagement work strands.

  • Nicola Freeman, Head of Curatorial and Public Engagement

    Nicola heads the Curatorial team, develops external partnerships and manages the curatorial direction including identifying acquisitions, displays and public programming, with an eye to diversity and representation; she also ensures that the Collection contributes to DCMS objectives.

  • Andrew Parratt, Head of Collection Care

    Andrew heads the Collection Care team with oversight of our registrarial, technical and conservation work strands worldwide. He curates art displays for government buildings that balance the needs of objects, locations and the people who come into contact with the Collection.

  • Emma Bani-Walker and James Morrison, Senior Collection Coordinators

    Emma and James both coordinate the administration of the Collection. This includes budgets, business continuity, corporate planning, copyright clearances, as well as liaising with the Advisory Committee and commissioning partners.

  • Jaz Godmon, Matt Lindop and Paulina Shearing, Registrars

    Jaz, Matt and Paulina deal with all aspects of the Collection on the move, from acquisition to display, including managing loans to public exhibitions, as well as overseeing displays in government buildings and diplomatic missions.

  • Chris Christophorou, Technical Manager

    Chris manages the intake and dispatch of works of art and ensures their preparation to professional standards for display. He also oversees the installation of artworks in government buildings around the world.

  • Tony Harris, Digital Media and Photography Manager

    Tony ensures that the Collection’s photography and image management meets museum standards. He is also responsible for our graphic design projects.

  • Anthony Lindsay and Oliver Smith, Collection Technicians

    Anthony and Ollie prepare works for dispatch and support installation teams with expert knowledge of the artworks.

  • Shasti Lowton, Curator (Public Engagement)

    Shasti develops the Collection’s in-person and digital public programme, from collaborative projects with communities, creative collectives and arts organisations across the UK, to behind-the-scenes tours and Open House visits. She works to bring the stories in the Collection to life through an array of exciting activities and events.

  • Leigh Anne Manesi, Digital Engagement Manager

    Leigh Anne manages the Collection’s social media and website, and its digital engagement strategy.

  • Suzy Murray, Documentation Manager

    Suzy ensures that we have effective collection information and documentation policies, procedures, systems and standards in place and that these are managed, supported and developed across the work of the Collection.

  • Dr Laura Popoviciu, Curator (pre-1900)

    Laura generates and disseminates knowledge about the pre-1900 works of art in the Collection through research, curated displays, new acquisitions, online content and public presentations.

  • Dr Theo Weiss, Curator - Modern & Contemporary

    Theo produces and shares knowledge about the modern and contemporary (20th century to today) works of art in the Collection, through research, new acquisitions, curated displays, online content and public presentations.
