Gerrit van Giessen’s view of the ‘Tomb of Gerrit van Assendelft’ shows part of the interior of Assendelft chapel, in North Holland, founded in 1482. The tomb itself includes the recumbent effigies of husband and wife Gerrit van Assendelft and Beatris van Dalem. In front of the structure, two figures are in conversation to the left, while a man draws the tomb to the right. Eight coats of arms hang on the wall to either side. A further example of this print is in the collection of the British Museum, London.
