  • About the artist
    Mick Moon studied at Chelsea School of Art (1958–62) and at the Royal College of Art (1962–63). He lectured at the Slade School of Art, London, from 1973–91, and was Artist in Residence at the Prahran School of Art and Design in Melbourne, Australia in 1982. Since his first solo exhibition in London in 1969, Moon has had many solo exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions, including shows at the Tate, London (1976), Ikon Gallery, Birmingham (1980) and the Bowles Sorokko Gallery, San Francisco (1996). He received the Gulbenkian Print Award in 1984 and was elected as a Royal Academician in 1994. Moon lived and worked in London.
