About the artist
Abstract artist Robyn Denny, currently lives and works in London. He studied at St Martin’s School of Art from 1951 to 1954 and at the Royal College of Art from 1954 to 1957. He has taught painting at Hammersmith College of Art, Bath Academy of Art and at the Slade in London. His first solo exhibition was held in London in 1958 and he was the youngest artist to have a retrospective exhibition at the Tate Gallery, in 1973. He is known for his designs in the interior of Embankment Tube.
