Born in Glasgow, Victoria Morton studied for a BA and MFA in the city at Glasgow School of Art. Her practice encompasses painting, assemblage, photography and sound. She has exhibited her work internationally since 1993, both in numerous solo shows and group exhibitions. She exhibits frequently at Sadie Coles HQ in London, and has had recent solo shows at The Modern Institute, Glasgow; the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, USA; and the Rat Hole Gallery, Tokyo, among others.
Morton lives and works in Glasgow and Fossombrone, Italy.
